Privacy Policy

AI & Software Hub (operated by Eren Şimşir) is a read-only publication: there are no accounts, comments or sign-up forms. This policy explains what is processed when you visit, and what you can do about it.

1. What is collected

Server logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes your IP address, browser and requested page to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Analytics (only with your consent). If you accept cookies, Google Analytics 4 collects pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser information, and referrer, using cookies and your IP address.
Advertising (only with your consent, and only when ads are enabled). If you accept cookies and advertising is active, Google AdSense and its partners set cookies and process your IP address and device information to show and measure ads.
Your cookie choice.We store your Accept/Reject decision in your browser's local storage so we do not ask on every visit. It is not sent to us.
Email. If you email us, we keep your message and address only to respond and for record-keeping.
Images. Article photos are loaded from Pexels (images.pexels.com), so your browser contacts Pexels when you view them.

Until you choose Accept, the analytics and advertising scripts are not loaded. If you choose Reject, they are never loaded.

2. Cookies and Google AdSense

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. You can learn how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.

3. Changing or withdrawing your cookie choice

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland see a consent message from Google's Funding Choices (an IAB TCF–compliant consent platform) and can accept, reject or tailor their choices. In those regions analytics and advertising cookies stay off until you choose. Use “Cookie Preferences” in the site footer at any time to change your decision. You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser settings.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Data is shared only with the service providers named above (Cloudflare for hosting, Google for analytics and advertising when you consent, Pexels for images) so that they can provide their service, and where required by law.

5. Retention

Hosting logs are kept by Cloudflare according to its own retention policy. Google Analytics data is kept according to the retention period configured in our Analytics property. Emails are kept for as long as needed to handle your request.

6. Your rights (EEA, UK, Switzerland, California)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent at any time, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for advertising. 7. Affiliate and sponsored content

This site does not currently use affiliate links or publish sponsored content. If that changes, it will be disclosed at the top of the relevant article and this policy will be updated. See our Editorial Standards.

8. Children

This site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

9. Changes to this policy

We will update the date above when this policy changes in a meaningful way.
